Remembering those old days when Joel told me to give it a try! Walked out from my comfort zone and face the challenges that ahead of me.. I can never forget how he has encouraged me and keeping me through every stage of my life. I can never thank God enough for putting this wonderful and inspiring man in my life too.
A lot of time, I questioned myself. What is my achievement in this 27 years? What have I achieved to make papa, mama & Joel proud of me? Sometimes, I feel that I am so tiny but yet God has enlarge me w/ all His goodness and blessing in my life. Sometimes, I feel that I am not worthy because I am a sinner but yet God never forsake me but always carry me through every season of my life. I'm always blessed and thankful!
Years ago, we make a decision to buy a house. We are not greedy, as long as we got a small place that belong to us then we are grateful enough. This dream came true w/ the help of my parent. Of course, I put all my save up in it too :) That time round, I was the one who do everything from top to bottom. Joel was still in Miri studying while I just have to cope everything myself. From choosing a right house to house loan, to renovation, furniture and all, I do it all by myself. W/ no car and have to rely on some help from others, I'm forever grateful to Auntie Ivy, my best buddy- Mich Wong and her parent, Codi & Timmie. It is a loooong journey for me to achieve what we have like now. I will never regret to make this dream came true!
This is a small house for us, a studio apartment :) and I can proudly say I own my 1st house!

The previous look of the house. It was belongs to a Malay married couple obviously w/ the green wall ;p

Changing the wall color and build-in-cabinet into my fav color- White.

Thank you Max for sending his worker to help to paint the whole house.

I also decided to change all the essential part in the toilet

I'm always a Ikea's fan! Thank God for some help to get the furniture ship over to KK

Codi who really helps a load when Joel not there. A man behind all the scene.

Laminated flooring for both the rooms. This room has transformed into my dressing room ;) Another small lil dream came true!

I'm lucky enough to have build-in-cabinet and wardrobe ready. We just have to paint it all WHITE!

My tiny vintage room ;) which brought me loads of memories!

Some furniture and deco

One of the high-light in the house but I learnt my lesson for not getting any of this in our new house. Tho it may looks nice and pretty but the light bulb is a bomb!!!

Almost there.. Doing some cleaning uppp

Mama's idea of getting wall-paper :) It matches the feel of the whole house

Taaa-daaahh... The tiny living room :)

I love this part of my house

A view from my study table to the room

The interior deco of my room

In fact, I love every single part of my home and I even love the man who sitting there!
Thank you Lord. Thank you Papa & Mama. Thank you Joel Thien!
Ps: We are renting this apartment out soon in 2 months time. If you are interesting in renting a small house or you know any of your friend is looking, feel free to contact us by leaving a comment below or FB us or email Joel, thienjoel@hotmail.com
