My October life!

Life after not working is not exactly good but the good thing about it is I can to rest as much as I can, don't need to worry bout can't sleep at night & not able to wake up the next morning. Hoping to get a job ASAP and start my working life again :) I know God is in control!

While I was packing and hand over my stuff to the person who is going to replace me, I received the long awaited parcel all the way from HK. It is a wax seal stamp for #JMDay As you can see, it is our wedding's logo. I wanted it to b a normal stamp but I changed my mind at the end and got this. Guess, it will appear in most of our invitation card. Not easy to do the wax and seal it, we will see how far our creativeness go ;D

Attended Auntie Joyce's 60th birthday cum thanksgiving party.

I can cook more often but I din't

Returning in making sushi again after so long

Sweet treat to chill my mind down

Pampered myself once in a while ;)

Of course we can't do w/o Starbucks

& my fav sashimi too!

Last but not least, the most funny Future-in-laws ever!

Fiance just reminded me that 2nd batch of our Ikea's furniture is reaching by next week which mean I am gonna start busy w/ packing, organizing, cleaning & tidy up the whole house. The renovation work finally gonna come to an END soon! Can't wait in fact. Another 3 weeks till DCWC. I am hoping to get a job ASAP!!!! Pray for me if u r reading xx

#JMHome post: 7. Wallpaper, not an easy task!

A lil-walk-in wardrobe's layout is always in my mind for such a long time. From the first time I stepped into the new house- our room, I have all the beautiful pichaa in my mind. Once we get our wardrobe, I told Joel that we need wallpaper to go w/ it. We have research different wallpaper and at the end, we choose the most budget way which is the wallpaper from Kaison. Of course, you gotta know ur wardrobe's size too ;) The wallpaper that you see here is on RM19.90 & we covered the back of our wardrobe. The idea is from me but Joel choose the design that he wants. Fair enough right? ;p

In my mind, I thought it will b easy to stick the wallpaper on the wall but guess I was wrong. It literally took us 3 hours to complete it. Stick d, but not ngam, have to pull it out and stick again. Plain annoyed! But we still managed to complete it w/o going back to buy a 2nd roll!

So the wallpaper is done now. Add another new atmosphere in our room! We are loving it so far**

Next, I am gonna go and search for fabric again for our kitchen's curtain. This is the ideal one for me. But I might choose different pattern ;) We will see how it goes..

So far, there are plenty of stuff on the floor of everywhere in our new house. I have moved out from church therefore, one word- HEADACHE! Gonna wait for the 2nd batch of Ikea's furniture then I can start to organize and tidy up again!

#JMDay post: 11. A big 9 till #JMDay

It is not easy to come so close to our big day #JMDay Everyday filled w/ different agenda. Both of us busy w/ our own job tho we get to spent almost every night together. But by the time we see each other during dinner time, we both are exhausted at one point & hardly gather our thought or even focus to discuss on our wedding details. Well, we are trying our best to have energy & strength to talk.

Anyway, we are entering into 9 months time now till #JMDay According to our wedding checklist on the 8-9 months before, we are suppose to set w/ our wedding invitation card which we both are so satisfied & happy w/ it ;) Coordinate among our Bridesmaids & Groomsmen's appearance, draw out our reception's floor plan which I find it the hardest part for me & I am so reluctant to do it :( Custom-made wedding dress, Joel's suit, engraved wedding band...

Juggling in between job searching, current job, renovation & wedding is a huge lesson to learn. The amount of pressure that we both having now is almost overflowing to the neighborhood! But we must testify that God is really helping & blessing us throughout. We are doing good currently ;)

Only 7 rules:
1) Ask for my parent's blessing
2) Make it a complete surprise
3) Use my full name
4) Get down on knee
5) Have somebody catch it on a camera
6) Make sure my finger is done
7) & my eye brown is on ;p

"Will you marry me, my princess Michie Lo?" It was so yesterday! 310813*

Yay, 9 months down the road!

#JMHome post: 6. A lil walk-in-closet & #JMDay post 10. Gifts for our wedding-team-mates

Wokay.. This is how we look like lately. The superb round us and we don't even plan to shake the fats off from us. Yay, that's how life treating us so far and we are so blessed!

Anyway, a minor update for both #JMDay as well as our new house.
Which one should goes first?

Hmm... Let's start w/ our new house first la. We are currently entering to the stage where we find ourselves so 7788 about it. Partly because our busy & tight schedule, another reason being having the mindset that it is almost done so we slow down our speed too == Well, that is not too good tho because we gonna start our wedding preparation! Tho we are decreasing our speed but still not that slow de... Last week when I was outstation, our bed frame, headboard & wardrobe was sent to the new house & assembled. The next day when I am back, the Fiance brought me there so that I can have a look and at the same time, I can start organizing our clothes and stuff to the wardrobe.

Speaking about wardrobe, I always always dream to have a walk-in-closet. It will b best if I have a huge space like this

But too bad our house don't have that space.
The Fiance never fail to put a big smile on my face. We came across an idea that though our room is not huge but still we can play around w/ spacing! So, he decided to build me a lil walk-in-closet at the entrance of our room. It is hard to describe w/ word but once everything is ready, I will snap some pichaaa so share w/ all of you.

During my dayoff, I went to organize some of my clothes. Later on only I realized that I din't even left space for the future husband. LOL By then there was an unexpressed feeling. I am no longer an individual in 9 months time, I have got a man to stay w/! He is going to share a bed w/ me, toilet, kitchen, common area and even a wardrobe w/ me too. The overwhelming feeling that I had! But again, I am so grateful to have the man of my life to share everything w/ me ;)

I am still in the midst of searching some idea on how to organize a wardrobe. Needed more storage. Speaking about storage, the blue color boxes that u might have already noticed, it is from Ikea, the children's corner. I personally love it a lot because I get to store all my bags inside it. As much as I want, unfortunately I can't fit all but it is still serve the best. The Fiance said I should totally open a bag shop ;p

Another one that I choose was this bed storage box. What I do was put those clothes that I can't fit in anymore but dream to wear it again to this box as well as all the linen & bedding stuff :) The size of this 2 storage box fit perfectly in our wardrobe!

We are waiting for this open-closet to be sent & try our best to make our lil walk-in-closet to look more elegant & chic then we are good to go ;)

So far, this is what we have done! A lil bit more to gooo...

Wedding update's turn <3 br="">
Lately I have been real hardworking on our wedding preparation. Looking at our budget list, check list, task list, guest list and load more lists.. We are actually on track & have got more than enough to spend.

I am so into preparing gifts for all our wedding-team-mates, in-laws & my parent. Of course being a perfectionist,
I am very strict from choosing gift for individual till packaging. We hope that every single person who involved in helping us out during our wedding will of course enjoy themselves as well as happy working along side w/ us. Therefore, a lil love gift is a #must. I personally choose every single thing for each one of them and sew some goody bag to put in the love gift that we choose ;) It required loads of effort & time but it is all worth it. I am so enjoy the whole process from choosing, purchasing & sewing too.

Get some fabrics on hand. The FMIL is guiding me how to go about it... Joel was helping to cut and paste ;p

For my bridesmaids'

Ironing, sewing & cutting, my thumbs & finger literally numbs for hours!
This is what I aim to do but w/ our theme colors. Finger crossed**

So I foresee that many of the night of sewing these day :)

Other than this, I also been looking into some custom made thing & design. I will review it when the time is come!
Loads of DIY stuff going on during #JMDay
Stay tune for the next update. I think it will b my wedding dress. See I can fit or not xx

Oh ya, if we have contacted you personally to approach u in helping us during our wedding,
Thanks so much for saying YES to us. It is definitely a honor and privilege to have you on board and we are looking forward to meet w/ all of u & get thing going!
