Happy 8 years Anniversary, my man!

Have we change much from the beginning until now?

I pray to God secretly that we will b growing old together and every year, we will increase a photo of us in this photo-book! This year will b slightly different because this year is the 1st year & last year of us celebrating Wennnie Day as an engaged couple and this year will b the last year of us being a couple/ single individual. In a year to come, we will b celebrating this day as Mr & Mrs Thien by God's will. Each time when you read our Wennnie Day's post, I am constantly thanking God for this amazing gift that He has blessed me and today, I am surely thanking God again for another beautiful year has gone by w/ so much of His love and grace for us.

13.12.13, an ideal day for us to get marry. In fact, this date is the very 1st date that we picked for our wedding day. But too bad, we can't really make it today due to so many unforeseen circumstances. Worry not, the date that we choose as well as our parent will also b the perfect date for us to start our journey as a married couple we believe!!

Happy 8 years Anniversary, my man! You have given me a loads more than I could imagine. Thanks for your constant love and love and love! xx

Nelson Mandela, truly he is a Fighter!

I learned that courage was not the absence of fear, but the triumph over it. The brave man is not he who does not feel afraid, but he who conquers that fear. - Nelson Mandela

Johannesburg, South Africa
I have the privilege to visit South Africa a year ago. I even have the honor to visit where Nelson Mandela's home & the mall which named Nelson Mandela Square. We also went to Hector Pieterson Museum which just nearby Nelson Mandela's former house which has been run as museum since 1997. We heard a loads about him throughout the whole trip.

Too bad we can't really take any pichass inside the museum.

Outside of Hector Pieterson Museum listening to Rev Paul's sharing w/ us what is this all about.
After this trip, I felt extremely curious about this man and I went to google about him. Read the whole biography of him and get to know him a lil bit more.

His home in Jo'burg. Loads of tourism came too when we were there to try to capture a glimpse of it.

Have no idea that we were standing inside of this Hero's building

In front of Nelson Mandela Square

The building of Nelson Mandela Square

The statues of Nelson Mandela

In memory of him..

Today he is no longer w/ us but he is in a better place. Deepest condolence to President Nelson Mandela's family & the people in South Africa!
Truly he is a FIGHTER!

#JMDay post: 13. 7months to go...

Just a bling of eye, we are counting down 7months till #JMDay
Loads of thing that we need to look into it but let us finish up our house renovation first ;) Soon, it is finishing very soon!
Every time when I am going to write about our wedding, I will only remember to look into our checklist and I think we r still on schedule ;) Proudly to say* In fact the next thing we r going to do is to look for fabric for my wedding dress. We have found some tailor who can custom-made my dress. The problem is we have to look for fabric ourselves. We did went and search for it once, to compare price & quality as well. Guess we r going to do that again. Finger crossed about finding the "right&nice&good deal" fabric!

Need not to say more on the NO 7!

Yours truly posing na!

I actually can't wait for everything to b over but at the same time don't want it to come too soon cause I will b missing the best part of planning, executing & enjoying myself the whole process!

Anyway, 7months to go... xx

#JMHome post: 8. Mini-walk-in-Closet & Shoes-storage Area ;)

HOLLLLLLLAAAAAAA!!!!!!
I am finally back from #DCWC2013 @ Tawau. It was a fruitful one I must say! This post ain't gonna share about it but it is about our new house. Before I went back to Tawau, the 2nd batch of Ikea's furniture reached at our house & the whole house went into a total mess again! Last Saturday, we have the workers come and assemble.. Couldn't finish it in 1 day so gotta continue again this week.

Well, this time round I am kinda excited cause our open closet is finally ready to b seen!!! I just can't wait no more ;) So let me show u...

The worker thought it was easy to assemble it but in fact, it took him the whole day to do it and Joel gonna help him out too!

The upper part of the open closet

The lower deck of it ;) More space to put our clothes now and I can finally organize all our clothes instead of laying all around the floor!

J was checking around so that everything is firm so that it won't crash ==
So, our mini walk-in-closet is finally done! Lighting is next ;)

Other than open closet, I also managed to organize our shoes storage area.

Get all the necessary shoes rack to grill up. I love how we set up this area.

And this lil storage cabinet actually is to store some random stuff but at the end, it became our shoes storage cabinet d ==

See, I organized it in such a way that sport shoes, same color tone of heel, flat, sandal...

The hanging shoes-rack is for us to put those we wear often. So easier to access to it ;) The higher 2 rows is for Joel. Drill according to his eye-level*

We did some painting for our wall-shelf

and help the workers out too to save up some time :)

Last but not least, how can I miss out in posting this ;) Everyone were busying while I do some selfie**

Alright, I shall update #DCWC2013 next! xx
